Darlington continued their excellent form with a 3-0 win over struggling Burscough. Quakers' goals came from Amar Purewal, Graeme Armstrong and a Stephen Thompson penalty.

Darlington remain top of the league table after victory over Burscough at a windy Heritage Park on Saturday. In tough conditions, goals from Amar Purewal, Graeme Armstrong and Steven Thompson saw us win 3-0 to remain ahead of Salford City on goal difference. Read more

Simon Hahn brings us his weekly Evo-Stik round up
This week Darlington took a break from league action, as they competed in two cup competitions. On Saturday we progressed in the FA Trophy with victory away to Radcliffe Borough, 2-0. In the next round we travel to Scarborough Athletic. On Tuesday night we were away to Spennymoor in the Durham County Cup, when the under 18’s were used by Martin Gray. Unfortunately they were defeated 4-0 by a strong Spennymoor team, however it is still good experience for the youngsters. Read more
